There has been a lot of publicity lately concerning Latisse. Lattise contains a drug called Bimatiprost, which is a prostoglandin used in the treatment of glaucoma. Doctors and Nurses have long observed the lush a beautiful eyelashes that glaucoma patients sometimes develop. Their eyelashes are so long that sometimes you want to trim them. I’m just kidding but they are long and beautiful, and that growth is caused by the Bimatiprost. There are side effects however including darkening of the skin, and irritation that can be anywhere from mild to serious.

This product is not placed in the eye, but used as a topical and applied just like eye liner. Many report the irritation goes away after a few days. The product itself ranges from $120 to $150 for a 60 day supply. The benefits stop when usage stops. You need to keep it up to maintain the effect, and it is technically a daily use product. It also requires a doctors prescription.
